Ingredients:
• 1.5 cups – whole Wheat flour
• 1/2 cup – all-purpose flour
• 1 tbsp – active Dry yeast
• 1 tsp – Sugar
• 1 tsp – salt
• 1 cup – lukewarm water
• 3 tbsp – oil
• a few drops of Milk
Method:
- Add the yeast, sugar and salt to the lukewarm water, give it a stir and keep aside for 5 minutes, allowing the yeast to turn foamy.
- Take the flours in a large bowl and add the foaming yeast water and oil. Knead a soft dough.
- Arrange the dough in a large greased bowl and keep in a warm place for an hour until the dough doubles in volume.
- After an hour, punch down the dough and knead again.
- Make 6 medium-sized balls from the dough and arrange one by one in a greased mould. Keep aside for an hour in a warm place.
- Preheat an oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Brush the breads with milk and bake in the middle rack for 15-20 minutes until a golden brown crust forms over the bread.
- Turn off the oven and let the pavs cool.
