Ingredients:

• 3/4 kg – Mutton
• 2 – Onions
• 6 – Green chillies
• Curry leaves
• 1 tbsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 1 – Tomato (chopped or puree)
• 1.5 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1.5 tsp – coriander powder
• 2 tsps – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• Salt
• 1 cup – Coconut Milk

Method:

  1. Marinate mutton with 1/2 tsp chilli powder and sufficient salt for 1-2 hrs.
  2. Fry chopped onions, chillies, curry leaves, ginger-garlic paste.
  3. After a few minutes, add garam masala.
  4. When onions are cooked, add coriander powder, chilli powder and a pinch of turmeric.
  5. Mix well. Add tomato and fry for 2 mins.
  6. Put mutton with masala in the cooker and add some water.
  7. Keep for 10 mins (at least) after whistle.
  8. To make gravy, add coconut milk and let the meat simmer in it for a few minutes.
