Ingredients:
• 250-300 g – palak/spinach
• 1-2 – green chillies, finely chopped
• 500 ml – yogurt
• 3 cups – water
• Black salt to taste ( If Black salt is not available use normal salt)
• 1/2 tsp – black pepper powder
• 1/2 tsp – Sugar
Method:
- In a deep bottomed pan add water and bring it to boil.
- Add spinach to it and blanch.
- Blanching should be carried out only for 1-2 minutes.
- Strain the water and chop the spinach into fine pieces.
- In a bowl whisk yogurt till fluffy and creamy.
- Add black salt, sugar, black pepper powder and mix well.
- Add green chillies and spinach and mix well again.
- Enjoy spinach yogurt dip with Indian flat bread or rice.
