Ingredients:

• 250-300 g – palak/spinach
• 1-2 – green chillies, finely chopped
• 500 ml – yogurt
• 3 cups – water
• Black salt to taste ( If Black salt is not available use normal salt)
• 1/2 tsp – black pepper powder
• 1/2 tsp – Sugar

Method:

  1. In a deep bottomed pan add water and bring it to boil.
  2. Add spinach to it and blanch.
  3. Blanching should be carried out only for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Strain the water and chop the spinach into fine pieces.
  5. In a bowl whisk yogurt till fluffy and creamy.
  6. Add black salt, sugar, black pepper powder and mix well.
  7. Add green chillies and spinach and mix well again.
  8. Enjoy spinach yogurt dip with Indian flat bread or rice.
