
Ingredients:
• 2 cups- vegetables (Beans, Carrot, Snake gourd, Cabbage, Broccoli etc.).
• 2 handfuls – roasted gram dal (pottukadalai).
• 2 tbsp – jeera.
• 3 or 4 – red chillies.
• Salt, to taste.
• 1 tsp – grated coconut.
Method:
- Boil the vegetables with a little salt and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and season with mustard, urad dhal and asafoetida.
- Add the vegetables and fry well and make sure there is no water.
- Grind the dal, jeera and chilli well without adding water and with a little salt.
- After grinding, take the powder in a plate and add little water, until it develops a breadcrumb consistency.
- Add to the vegetables and fry well. Add salt, if necessary. Wait till the raw smell goes completely.
- Add 1 tsp of coconut and mix well. Keep aside.
