Ingredients:
• 1 large tin Pears
• For the Melba Sauce:
• 1/2 tin – Raspberry jam
• 1 cup – Hot water
• 1 tbsp – Cornflour
Method:
- Mix jam with hot water and let it melt over low heat.
- Strain through a fine sieve.
- Mix cornflour in a little cold water, add to the sauce.
- Cook over low heat until thick, cool, add brandy or rum.
- Serve with the pears.
