Ingredients:

• 1 bunch – Mint leaves
• 1 bunch – Coriander leaves
• Green chillies to taste
• A small piece of Ginger
• A lime-sized ball of Jaggery
• A lime-sized ball of Tamarind
• Salt to taste
• For seasoning:
• Oil
• Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
• A pinch of Asafoetida

Method:

  1. Grind all the ingredients together.
  2. For seasoning:
  3. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and asafoetida. Roast and pour on the chutney.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Serve with samosa, dosa, rice or use as a relish for sandwiches.
