Ingredients:

• 4 – plantains (raw banana).
• 2 – Onions (big size).
• 2 tsp – Ginger and Garlic paste.
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder.
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder.
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder.
• 2 – 4 – green chillies.
• 2 tsp – chopped coriander leaves.
• 2 tbsp- Corn flour.
• 4 tbsp- semolina.
• salt.
• oil for fry.

Method:

  1. Boil plantain, peel the skin, mash it and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil, add chopped onion and stir.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and fry it for 5-10 mins.
  4. Add mashed plantain into it. Fry for 5 mins.
  5. Remove from fire, add grated chillies, grated mint leaves, garam masala powder, corn flour.
  6. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into flattened disks.
  7. Coat with semolina. Shallow fry it till golden brown.
  8. Serve hot with lachha onion and green chutney.
