Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Toor Dal
• 3 tbsp – Moong Dal
• 2 – tomatoes, finely chopped
• 1.5 – 2 tbsps – Sambar powder
• To taste – Hing, salt
• Chilli powder
• 2 tbsp – Ghee
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seed
• 1 tsp – Jeera
• 1 tsp – Haldi powder
• Coriander leaves – for garnish
Method:
- Cook both the dals with turmeric powder and salt in the cooker.
- In a pan, heat ghee, add mustard seeds and jeera.
- After they splutter, add hing, chilli powder, sambar powder, and mix well for minute.
- Add tomatoes and saute well till tomatoes almost become a pulp.
- Add the cooked dals, salt and mix well.
- Add water and boil till you get the required consistency.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
