
Ingredients:
• 1 – medium-sized ridge gourd, cut into 1 inch pieces
• 1 tbsp – Chana dal
• 1 tbsp – Urad Dal
• 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 4 -5 – Green chillies
• gnger – a few
• Curry leaves – a few
• Coriander leaves – a few
• Salt – to taste
• Tamarind – as per need
• Jaggery (Optional)
• 1 tbsp – of grated Coconut
• Oil – as per need
Method:
- Heat oil. Add mustard seeds. After it splutters, add chana dal and urad dal.
- Once they are done, add slit-green chillies, ginger, both the leaves and the cut ridge-gourd pieces.
- Fry till done and grind in the mixie with salt, tamarind and coconut till the required consistency is achieved.
- This can be served with rice, chapathis, idlis and dosas.
