Ingredients:

• 500 g – Mushrooms
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 2 tsp – tandoori masala powder
• 2 tbsp – Lemon juice
• 3 tbsp – yogurt
• 2 tbsp – Butter
• salt to taste
• chopped Coriander leaves and Onion rings for garnishing

Method:

  1. Wash and clean the mushrooms.
  2. Core them with a knife and brush a little oil.
  3. Marinate the mushrooms with the chilli powder, tandoori masala powder, lemon juice, yogurt, butter and salt and set aside for an hour.
  4. Place the marinated mushrooms on a greased baking tray and grill in a moderate oven (355 degrees F) for 30 mins until evenly browned.
  5. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and onion rings.
