
Ingredients:
• 2 medium raw plantains
• 1 tblsp – oil
• 3/4 tsp – Red Chilli powder/black pepper
• A pinch of Haldi
• salt
• 1/2 tsp – Jeera powder
• 1/2 tsp – Dhania powder
• 1/4 tsp – kasuri Methi (optional)
Method:
- Scrape the outer layer of plantains, cut them into 2 inch cubes and put them in water (to avoid discoloration).
- Mix all powders (except salt and haldi) in oil and keep it aside.
- Remove cubes from water, just pat dry, smear salt and haldi over them. Spread them on a microwavable plate along with a small microwave-safe bowl with water.
- Microwave on high for 5-6 minutes and turn them after every 2 minutes.
- Remove and smear the masala paste over the cubes. Microwave on high for 2-3 more minutes. Check if necessary for 1 more minute.
- Can be served as side dish/starter.
