Ingredients:
• 200 g – okra, chopped into small pieces
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 2 tbsp – oil
• 2 -green chillies
• 1 – medium sized Tamarind ball
• 1 – medium sized Jaggery piece
• 1 tsp – Rice flour
• 1 tsp -turmeric
• salt
Method:
- Soak tamarind in water and extract the juice.
- Pour oil in a hard bottom medium pan. Put mustard seeds and wait till it splutters.
- Add the okra, green chillies and fry them, till they become bright.
- Pour in the tamarind juice, add salt, jaggery and turmeric powder.
- Mix the rice flour in a little water and pour it into the pan to thicken.
- Boil it till the raw smell of tamarind goes away.
