Ingredients:

• Apple – 1
• Sugar – 5 tbsps
• Lemon juice – 5 tbsps
• Cinnamon stick – 2 inch
• Cloves – 4
• Red Chilli powder – 1 tsp
• Salt and black salt – to taste
• Pepper powder – a pinch

Method:

  1. Peel the apple and cut into small pieces.
  2. Boil water in a pan and add chopped apples, sugar, lemon juice, cloves and cinnamon.
  3. Boil till apple is cooked and mixture is just moist.
  4. Mix in red chilli powder, black pepper, black salt and salt and cook for 2 more minutes, till apple is mushy.
  5. Remove cinnamon sticks and cloves.
  6. Serve chutney with any stuffed paratha.
