Ingredients:

• 1 kg – Chicken (skinless)
• 12 – Green chillies
• 3 tbsp – oil
• 2- Lemons
• 2 tsp Vinegar
• 2 tsp – pepper powder
• 2 tsp salt
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1 tsp – ginger-garlic paste
• Curry leaves
• Pudina/Mint leaves
• 3- Tomatoes (grind to puree)
• 2 – Onions

Method:

  1. Clean and wash chicken pieces and put in a pan.
  2. Slit 6 green chillies length-wise and add to the chicken. Also add lemon juice, vinegar, pepper, salt and turmeric.
  3. Cook the chicken until all the water evaporates and chicken becomes tender.
  4. Finally add tomato puree.
  5. Grind the remaining chillies, curry leaves and mint leaves. Keep aside.
  6. Heat oil in another pan, fry the onions till golden brown, add ginger-garlic paste and green masala paste to it.
  7. Add cooked chicken to it and cook on a low flame.
  8. Add garam masala and serve.
