Ingredients:

• 3 -bitter gourd (medium size)
• 1 -onion (finely chopped)
• 1 -tomato (Big) (finely chopped)
• 1/4 tsp -haldi powder
• 1/2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp -dhania powder
• 1/4 tsp- Mustard Seeds
• 1 small bunch -coriander leaves (finely chopped)
• 1/2 tsp -sugar
• salt
• 4 tbsp -oil
• 1 glass -water

Method:

  1. Wash and cut the bitter gourd (remove the seeds) into small pieces, add some salt, mix them well and leave them for about 2 hours.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds, after they splutter, add the onions, saute well till they’re done.
  3. Add haldi powder, chilli powder, dhania powder and mix well.
  4. Wash the bitter gourd, squeeze out the water, add them and mix well. Then add about 1 glass of water and allow it to cook till it is done.
  5. Add salt, sugar, mix well and garnish with coriander leaves.
