
Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Toor Dal
• 2 cups – Jaggery (powdered)
• 2 – Cardamoms
• 1 cup – All-purpose flour
• 2 tsp – Oil
• Oil for deep frying
• Water
• A pinch of salt
Method:
- Add some water to the flour along with 2 tsps oil and salt. Knead well. Keep aside for 3-4 hours.
- Boil water and add the Toor dal.
- When it is half cooked, add powdered jaggery and the cardamoms.
- Cook well and grind when it is still warm.
- Make small balls from the maida dough.
- Flatten them on your palm. Put some sweet stuffing inside and cover.
- Deep fry till done. Serve hot.
