Ingredients:

• 1 big broccoli, chopped into medium size florets
• 2 big onions, chopped
• 1 tsp – Cuminutes/jeera
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder/haldi
• 1 tsp – chilli/mirchi powder
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a thick-bottom kadai.
  2. Add jeera. When it splutters, add onions.
  3. Saute till onions turn pink in colour.
  4. Add haldi and stir for a minute.
  5. Add broccoli and mix well.
  6. Lower flame and cover the kadai and allow it to cook for 10 minutes.
  7. Keep stirring for every 4 minutes.
  8. When done, add salt and mirchi powder and stir well.
  9. Cook for 3-4 minutes more.
  10. Remove and serve hot with chapatti or phulka.
