
Ingredients:
• 5 – potatoes.
• 3 – green chillies.
• 2 tsp – oil.
• 1/2 tsp – turmeric.
• 10 g – ginger.
• 1/2 tsp – mustard.
• 1/2 tsp – urad dal.
• 2 tsp – Lemon juice.
• Salt to taste.
• Coriander leaves for garnishing.
Method:
- Boil and peel the potatoes. Mash them well.
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and urad dal and wait till the mustard splutters.
- Add green chillies, ginger, mashed potatoes and add turmeric and salt.
- Gently saute the potatoes from time to time.
- Remove from the stove, add lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves.
- This goes very well with rice and chapattis.
