Ingredients:

• 1/2 – firm green Cabbage
• 1- red Onion
• 2 -3- Green chillies finely chopped
• 2- Curry leaves
• 1- small bowl of freshly grated Coconut
• 1tbsp – oil
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 pinch- Asafoetida

Method:

  1. Finely chop both the cabbage and the onion and mix in a bowl.
  2. In a small pan heat a tbsp of oil. Add mustard seeds when oil is hot.
  3. When this splutters, add curry leaves and finely chopped chillies followed by the asafoetida.
  4. Garnish the onions and cabbage with this.
  5. Add the grated coconut and serve.
