Ingredients:

• 3 cups – Maida
• 1 cup – Wheat flour
• 1 cup – oil
• 3/4 tsp – Onion seeds
• 3/4 tsp – ajwain
• Salt to taste.

Method:

  1. Mix atta, maida, salt, ajwain and onion seeds and oil together and mix thoroughly.
  2. Then knead the dough using appropriate quantity of water.
  3. The dough should not be too loose or soft.
  4. Make small sized balls and roll out small puris.
  5. Prick the puris with a fork.
  6. Heat oil over medium high and then reduce the flame.
  7. Deep fry them till light brown and crisp.
  8. Cool before storing.
