Ingredients:

• 15 – button Mushrooms
• 1 – onion, finely chopped
• 1 – tomato, finely chopped
• Ginger
• Garlic
• Green chilli
• Curry leaves
• Coriander leaves
• Shredded Coconut
• Yoghurt

Method:

  1. With small portions of onion & tomato, ginger, garlic, green chilli, 10 curry leaves, 5 stems of coriander leaves, shredded coconut, 3 spoons of yoghurt, make a paste.
  2. Green chilli is the only hot stuff we are adding. So if you want more spice, then add 6 to 7chillies .
  3. Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard, urad dal, cumin seed, anise seeds and wait till it sprinkles.
  4. Then add onion, tomatoes, cook until it turns to golden brown.
  5. Add sliced mushrooms and finally add the paste and salt to taste.
  6. Remember that mushroom give out water as they get cooked, so don’t pour too much water. It takes hardly 10 minutes to cook.
  7. Stir occasionally.
  8. While cooking, cook with lid closed.
