
Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Flour
• 2 tsp – Baking powder
• 1/2 cup – Sugar
• A pinch of salt
• A pinch of cooking soda
• 3/4 cup – Milk
• 1/4 cup – Vegetable oil or Butter
• 1 cup – mix fruit jam
Method:
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, soda, salt and sugar.
- In a small bowl, mix milk and oil.
- Pour in the flour mixture.
- Do not beat. The batter will be lumpy.
- Gently stir in jam.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 20 minutes or until golden.
