Ingredients:

• 1 cup – g flour
• 1/4 cup – chopped Onions
• 6 Cloves garlic, chopped
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 cup – coriander leaves, chopped
• 1 tbsp – chilli and Ginger paste
• 1-3/4 cups – water
• oil for shallow frying
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Put oil, onion and garlic into a casserole dish.
  2. Saute in a microwave oven on high, covered, for 2 minutes.
  3. Or heat oil in a pan, add onions and garlic and saute till a light brown.
  4. Mix g flour and water together to make a smooth batter.
  5. Pour into the casserole dish and cook on medium-high, for 4 minutes, without lid, stirring once.
  6. Or if cooking on stove top, cook over medium heat stirring all the time, till mixture thickens.
  7. Mix the remaining ingredients and cook on high for 4 minutes, stirring once.
  8. Or cook over high heat, stirring continuously till the right consistency (to set) is reached again.
  9. Remove mixture on to a tray and spread into a 1/2 inch thick rectangle.
  10. Cool completely and cut into square pieces.
  11. Shallow fry the square pieces until golden brown.
