
Ingredients:
• 100 gm – Rice
• 2 litres – Milk
• 100 gm – Kalkandh (Kalsakray)
• 250 gm – Sugar
• 100 gm – Ghee
• Cashewnut, Rasins
• Saffron, Cardamom (powder)
Method:
- Soak rice for 15 minutes in water.
- Boil it with all of the milk.
- Keep stirring till it cooks (this is very important. Ensure that the rice cooks fully).
- Add a little saffron.
- Add kalkand and sugar
- Add a little ghee, after sugar and kalkhand has dissolved.
- After it thickens remove from stove and add cashew and rasins (fried in ghee)
- Add cardamom.
- The delicious Kshrirannam is ready.
