
Ingredients:
• 1 – Chicken
• 1 – onion, medium-sized
• 8 – Garlic Cloves
• 1 piece Ginger – thumb sized
• 3 tsp – black pepper seeds
• 1 tsp – sweet cumin
• 1/2 tsp – cumin
• 6 – Almonds
• 8 – Cashew nuts
• 1 cup – Yoghurt
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 cup – cooking oil
• 1/2 tsp – Clove powder
• 2 tbsp – Tomato sauce
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Finely grind onion, garlic and ginger.
- Finely grind black pepper seeds, cumin and sweet cumin.
- Finely grind almonds and cashew nuts.
- Wash chicken and cut into pieces.
- Marinate with ground onion mixture, yoghurt and turmeric for 15 minutes.
- Place in pot and cook for 10 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the ground almond mixture and clove powder for a few seconds.
- Add cooked chicken pieces.
- Stir well, then add ground pepper mixture.
- Stir fry till chicken is light brown.
- Add tomato sauce and salt to taste.
- Serve hot with rice.
