
Ingredients:
• 6 to 8 – ripe mangoes
• 1 cup – curds beaten
• 2 cups – water
• 4 – green chilli, seeded and chopped
• 2 tbsp gram flour mixed with 4 tbsp water
• 1/2 tsp – Haldi powder
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – dry Ginger
• Sugar and salt to taste
• For seasoning:
• 1 tbsp – mustard
• a pinch of Hing
• 1 tbsp – Ghee
Method:
- Peel and cut mangoes. Puree and strain.
- Beat curds with water and add to the mango pulp along with the gram flour.
- Place pan on heat and bring to a boil slowly, stirring all the time. Remove from heat.
- Heat Ghee in Tadka pan, add the seasoning and fry for 1 minute.
- Add to the mango Kadhi.
- Serve with white rice and Papad.
