Ingredients:
• For meatballs:
• 1/2 kg – minced Meat or Chicken
• 1 tsp – garlic-ginger paste
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 1/2 tsp – each of Turmeric powder, Garam Masala (all spice) powder, coriander powder
• 1 – finely chopped Green chilli or 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Vinegar
• For gravy:
• 2 – large chopped Onions
• 3 – red dried chillies
• 1.5 inch piece – Cinnamon stick
• 3 – large tomatoes, chopped
• 1/2 tsp – pepper powder
• 1/2 tsp – cumin powder
• 2 cups – cubed potatoes, Carrots and Cauliflower florets
Method:
- For the meatballs, mix the meat with all the ingredients listed and make 1 inch meat balls. Set aside.
- For the stew, fry cinnamon and red chillies in 1 tbsp oil in a pressure cooker.
- Then add in chopped onions and tomatoes .
- Cook till tomatoes soften, then put in the meatballs, vegetables, pepper and cumin, and add water to just cover the meatballs.
- Close and cook for 1 whistle in the pressure cooker or until the meat is cooked. Serve.
