Ingredients:

• All-purpose flour – 150 g
• Baking powder – 1/4 tsp
• Butter – 120 g
• Sugar – 90 g
• Half an Egg
• A pinch of vanilla
• Cornflakes (coarsely powdered) – 50 g

Method:

  1. Mix all-purpose flour and baking powder till both are evenly blended.
  2. Mix butter and sugar in another bowl.
  3. In yet another bowl, mix the egg and vanilla.
  4. Add mixture of egg and vanilla to the sugar and butter mixture.
  5. Add the mixture of all-purpose flour and baking powder to the above and mix till a thick dough is formed.
  6. Cut the dough into small pieces (in whichever shape you prefer).
  7. Roll each one in the coarsely powdered cornflakes and place it on a baking tray 5 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 12 mins in the oven at 350 degrees F.
