Ingredients:
• 1 – Chinese Okra (beerakaya)
• Carrot –
• 1 – Onion
• 1/2 cup
• 1/4 cup – peas
• 2 cups – Milk
• 1 tbsp – cumin powder
• 1 tbsp – coriander powder
• 1 tbsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tbsp – Channa dal
• Salt as required
• Oil -as required
• Turmeric
Method:
- Heat oil in a tava, then fry channa dal and onion till onion gets a transparent colour.
- Then add tomatoes, okra and fry that nicely, then add carrot and peas and cover it.
- Let it fry for 10 mins (keep stirring in between).
- Then add turmeric, cumin powder, dhaniya powder and red chilli powder and salt, and mix it properly.
- At the end, add milk and cook the vegetables till done.
