Ingredients:

• 1 – Chinese Okra (beerakaya)
• Carrot –
• 1 – Onion
• 1/2 cup
• 1/4 cup – peas
• 2 cups – Milk
• 1 tbsp – cumin powder
• 1 tbsp – coriander powder
• 1 tbsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tbsp – Channa dal
• Salt as required
• Oil -as required
• Turmeric

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a tava, then fry channa dal and onion till onion gets a transparent colour.
  2. Then add tomatoes, okra and fry that nicely, then add carrot and peas and cover it.
  3. Let it fry for 10 mins (keep stirring in between).
  4. Then add turmeric, cumin powder, dhaniya powder and red chilli powder and salt, and mix it properly.
  5. At the end, add milk and cook the vegetables till done.
