
Ingredients:
• 1.5 cup – moong dal (yellow)
• 2 cup – moong dal (green)
• 1 – Onion
• 6 – Green chillies
• 2 inch piece – Ginger
• 1 bunch – Coriander leaves
• 1 pinch – soda bi-carbonate
• Salt to taste
• 2 tsp – hot oil
• Oil for frying
Method:
- Soak both moong dal for about 6-8 hours
- Wash dal thoroughly and grind dals with green chillies and ginger
- Chop onion and coriander finely and add it to the dal mixture
- Add salt, bi-carb, and 2 tsp of hot oil and mix well
- Heat oil in kadai.
- Take small amounts of dal mixture and fry in hot oil till golden brown
- Serve hot with fried chillies and coriander or mint chutney
