
Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Cut Palak
• 1 – Onion, cut finely
• 1/4 cup – Tur Dal
• 3 – Green chillies
• 2 tbsps – Cut Coriander leaves
• 1 tbsp- Grated Coconut
• 1 tbsp – Tamarind juice.
• 1 tbsp – Crushed garlic.
• Salt to taste
• Oil – 1 tsp
Method:
- Pressure cook the dal, palak and the onion for 2 mins.
- Then grind together coriander leaves, coconut, chillies, and tamarind juice with 1/2 a cup of water.
- Add to the cooked mixture of dal and palak.
- Boil for 5 mins. Add salt.
- Then, in another pan, heat oil and add the crushed garlic, stir for a minute.
- Add the cooked mixture of palak and dal to it.
- Boil this curry adding 1/2 a cup of water for 5 mins.
