Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup – moong dal, soaked in water for 30 minutes
• 2 – Red Chillies
• A pinch – Asafoetida
• Salt
• 1 tbsp – grated Coconut
• 1 tsp – oil
• 2 Cloves – Garlic

Method:

  1. Drain the moong dal.
  2. Heat the oil and roast the dal until it turns fragrant. Keep aside
  3. Now roast the chillies, asafoetida, garlic and coconut. Keep aside.
  4. Grind everything with a little salt and water into a thick chutney.
