Ingredients:

• 2 kg – pears, sliced
• 2 tins sweetened condensed Milk
• 100 gms – Butter
• For the crumble:
• 150 gms – Butter
• 300 gms – plain flour (maida)

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven for 15 minutes at 160 degree C.
  2. Mix condensed milk and butter and heat for 5 mins.
  3. Remove from fire and set aside to cool.
  4. Place the pear slices in layers, in an ovenproof bowl.
  5. Pour the cooled condensed milk mixture evenly over pear slices.
  6. Top with the prepared crumble.
  7. Bake for 30 mins. at 160 degree C.
  8. How to prepare the crumble mixture:
  9. Combine the flour and butter to a crumbly texture and set aside. Add on top of pear slices before baking.
