
Ingredients:
• 2 kg – pears, sliced
• 2 tins sweetened condensed Milk
• 100 gms – Butter
• For the crumble:
• 150 gms – Butter
• 300 gms – plain flour (maida)
Method:
- Preheat the oven for 15 minutes at 160 degree C.
- Mix condensed milk and butter and heat for 5 mins.
- Remove from fire and set aside to cool.
- Place the pear slices in layers, in an ovenproof bowl.
- Pour the cooled condensed milk mixture evenly over pear slices.
- Top with the prepared crumble.
- Bake for 30 mins. at 160 degree C.
- How to prepare the crumble mixture:
- Combine the flour and butter to a crumbly texture and set aside. Add on top of pear slices before baking.
