
Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg – deshelled, deveined prawns.
• 1 cup – grated coconut.
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder.
• 1 tsp – Hing (rock), not powder Hing.
• 1 tsp – Coconut oil.
• Salt.
• 1 tbsp – Tamarind paste.
Method:
- Grind all the ingredients, except coconut oil to fine paste.
- Add water and boil.
- Add prawns, salt and coconut oil.
- Simmers.
- Cook for another 10 mins.
- Serve with hot rice.
