Ingredients:
• 750 gm – prawns.
• 12 – red chillies.
• 5 – onions.
• 10 flakes – garlic.
• 2″ piece – ginger, crushed.
• 2 tsp – cumin seeds.
• 12 – pepper corns.
• 4 – green chillies, slit.
• 4 tbsp – oil.
• 1/2 cup – vinegar.
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder.
• Salt.
Method:
- Clean and de-vein the prawns.
- Marinate them with salt and turmeric powder. Keep aside.
- Grind red chillies, garlic, green chillies, cumin seeds and peppercorns in vinegar to a fine paste.
- In a kadai, heat oil and fry the ginger and onions till golden brown.
- Add the prawns and saute for 3-4 mins.
- Now add the ground masala and salt.
- Mix well and cook till tender.
