Ingredients:
• 3 cups – flour
• 2 tsps – baking powder
• 1 cup – Sugar
• 1/2 tsp – salt
• 1 cup – Butter
• 1 – Egg
• 1 cup Milk
Method:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
- Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Rub or cut butter into the mixture.
- Add raisins and stir to mix well.
- Beat the egg with the milk and add to the flour mixture. Mix well.
- Turn on to floured board, roll or pat til dough is of 3/4 inch thickness. Use a floured knife to cut into triangles.
- Place them on a greased baking tray and bake for around 20 mins, until golden.
