Ingredients:
• Part A:
• cracker crust
• 1 – large Egg white (slightly beaten)
• Mix B:
• 5 cups – fresh peeled apples (red)
• 1/2 cup – powdered Sugar
• 1/4 cup – Brown sugar
• 3 tbsp – whole Wheat flour
• 1/2 tsp – Cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp – salt
• Mix C:
• 3/4 cup – whole Wheat flour
• 1/4 cup – powdered Sugar
• 1/4 cup – Brown sugar
• 1 stick (1/3 cup) – melted Butter
Method:
- Brush egg white on crust, bake until light brown – about 6 minutes.
- Combine B and mix well, spoon into crust.
- Mix C and put on as the topping of the pie in thin sheets
- Bake at 375 degrees F for about 50 minutes
- Cool for about 4 hours.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream and hard sauce.
