
Ingredients:
• Ginger – 50 g (or Ginger paste)
• Tamarind Paste – 1 tbsp
• Jaggery – 1 tbsp
• Chilli Powder – 1 tbsp
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Scrape the skin of fresh ginger.
- Cut it into big pieces.
- Fry the pieces in oil and grind them without water.
- Fry the paste in oil along with tamarind paste.
- Add salt, chilli powder and boil for sometime.
- Finally add jaggery.
- When the chutney reaches jam-like consistency, remove from flame.
- Cool and serve.
