Ingredients:

• 2 cups – all-purpose flour
• 1 cup – granulated Sugar
• 3/4 cup – vegetable oil
• 1 large – Egg
• 1 tsp – vanilla essence
• 1/2 tsp – baking soda
• 1/4 tsp – Salt
• Nutella – as per taste
• Colourful sprinkles

Method:

  1. In a mixing bowl, add oil and sugar and mix well together for about 5 mins.
  2. Add egg and mix well with a hand mixer for 3 – 4 mins.
  3. Now add vanilla essence to the mixture and stir again.
  4. In another bowl sieve the flour, baking powder and salt together.
  5. Now add this dry mixture to the wet mixture and stir and knead to form a smooth dough.
  6. The dough will be little sticky, so keep it covered in a refrigerator for about 30 mins.
  7. For baking cookies, preheat the oven to 190 degrees C. and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  8. Make small lemon size balls of the dough and flatten slightly, sprinkle with sugar.
  9. Bake for about 15 mins until they are golden brown around the edges.
  10. Let cool completely on a wire rack.
  11. Serve as it is or spread nutella over it, top them with colour sprinkles and serve
