
Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Curd (beaten)
• 2 – ripe and firm Tomatoes (med sized)
• 1 tsp – Haldi
• 1/2 cup – grated Coconut
• 1- 2 – Green chillies
• 1 tsp -raw Rice
• salt
• For tadka:
• 2 tsp – oil
• 1 tsp- mustard
• 1 tsp -fenugreek
• 1 – red chill cut into 3 to 4 pieces
• Curry leaves
Method:
- Cut tomatoes into medium sized pieces. Cook with haldi and salt for 1-2 minutes.
- Meanwhile, grind coconut, green chilli and raw rice with 1 tbsp of curd and a little water to make a fine paste.
- Add this paste to the tomatoes and cook till the raw smell disappears.
- Once cooked, add beaten curd and keep the flame in simmer for 2 mins.
- Do not bring this to boil.
- Switch off the stove and add tadka and curry leaves.
