
Ingredients:
• 6 cups – cooked long grain Rice
• 500 g – fish slices or cubes
• 1 cup – onion, chopped
• 3 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
• 3 tbsp – Ghee or oil
• 2 tsp – garlic, minced
• 2 fresh green chillies, sliced
• 2 fresh red chillies, sliced
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – black pepper corns, crushed
• salt and pepper
• salt to taste
Method:
- Rub the fish slices/cubes with salt and pepper. Steam till cooked.
- Cool slightly and flake the fish, discarding the bones.
- Heat the Ghee or oil in a Kadai, preferably non-stick.
- Add garlic, fry till fragrant.
- Add onion and fry till softened.
- Lower the heat, add the chillies, turmeric and pepper. Fry for few seconds.
- Add the rice and flaked fish. Add salt to taste.
- Cover and leave on low fire, till the rice is heated through.
- Serve hot, garnished with egg slices.
