Ingredients:

• 1 kg – Mutton
• For marinade:
• 2 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 2 tsp – dry coriander
• 1 tbsp – Ginger paste
• 6 – Cloves
• 8 – Garlic Cloves
• 1 – onion, chopped
• 6 – small Cardamom
• 1/2 inch – Cinnamon
• 1/2 tbsp – Nutmeg powder
• A pinch of Hing
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tsp – salt

Method:

  1. Mix the mutton pieces well in the paste. Add salt and turmeric powder, and keep aside for 20 mins.
  2. Heat some oil, fry the mutton quickly on high heat, then lower the heat and simmer for an hour.
  3. Serve hot with cooked rice or rotis.
