
Ingredients:
• 250 gms – Raagi flour 200 gms – Besan
• 2 tbsp – Rice flour
• 250 gms – Onions, sliced
• 6 Green chillies, chopped
• 1 tsp – Grated Ginger
• 2 tsp – Chopped Coriander leaves
• 1tsp – Chopped Curry leaves
• 2 Cloves
• 1/2 – inch Cinnamon stick to be powdered coarsely
• 4 Garlic cloves, crushed roughly
• 1 tsp – Cashew bits
• Oil to deep fry
• Salt to taste
• 1/8 tsp – Baking soda
Method:
- Mix all ingredients except oil.
- Prepare a tight paste with minimum amount of water while kneading.
- Add a tablespoon of hot oil to give crispiness to the pakoda.
- Check salt and drop small portions of dough in to hot oil and fry till light golden in color.
- Remove pakoda on a paper napkin to absorb oil if any.
- Serve hot as tea time snack with tomato sauce. This is a mouth-watering healthy snack and tastes great especially on a rainy day.
