
Ingredients:
• Chicken, cut into small pieces – 1 kg
• Onion, finely sliced – 3
• Garlic – 5-6 Cloves
• Tomato, sliced – 3
• Ginger, cut into small pieces – 2.5″ piece
• Chilli powder – 2 tsp
• Coriander powder – 3.5 tsp
• Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
• Chicken masala powder – 2.5 tsp
• Tomato sauce – 1 tsp
• Green chilli – 3 to 4
• Salt to taste
• Oil as required
• Curry leaves – a few
Method:
- Heat oil and fry the onions until slightly brown.
- Add the tomatoes, garlic, ginger, green chillies and curry leaves and saute.
- Add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, chicken masala and saute.
- Now add the chicken pieces, add salt and stir-fry.
- After 5 minutes, pour some water and stir.
- Before taking the dish off the flame, pour tomato sauce and stir.
- Serve the chicken roast with rice.
