Ingredients:

• 2 cups – Beaten Rice
• 2 cups – Sugar
• 4 – cardamom, crushed
• Cashew – a few
• 1 tbsp – Ghee
• Saffron – a few strands

Method:

  1. Soak the poha for 10 mins, wash and drain.
  2. Soak saffron in 1/2 cup of milk and keep aside
  3. Add a tsp ghee in a kadai and fry the cashew.
  4. Add the poha to it and fry it for a minute.
  5. Add sugar, cardamom and saffron to it and keep stirring on low flame.
  6. Add the remaining ghee to it and serve.
