Ingredients:

• 1 cup – moong dal
• 1 – small size Broccoli flower
• 2 tbsp – oil
• 1 tsp -mustard
• 1 tsp- Jeera
• 2 – Dried red chillies
• 1 stem – Curry leaves
• 2 -green mirchis
• 3 – 4 -garlic Cloves
• salt

Method:

  1. Pressure cook dal along with broccoli cut into pieces, green mirchi and garlic cloves.
  2. After two to three whistles, remove the cooker from the stove.
  3. Now for the seasoning, in a skillet heat oil and sputter mustard seeds and jeera.
  4. Add dry chillies, curry leaves and the seasoning along with salt to the cooked dal.
  5. Serve hot with chapattis or rice.
