Ingredients:
• 1 kg – Fish (boneless preferred)
• 2 – Big Onions (fried in oil and made into a paste)
• 1 tbsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – Turmeric
• 2 tbsp – Chilli powder
• 1 tbsp – Coriander powder
• 1 tsp – Jeera powder
• 1 tsp – Methi powder (fenugreek seeds)
• A Lime sized ball of Tamarind (soaked in water)
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Take 5 tbsp of oil and fry the onion paste, add ginger garlic paste, turmeric and fry till it turns red.
- Add chilli powder and salt, pour the tamarind pulp and boil for 5-10 minutes.
- Put in the fish pieces and boil for 5 minutes.
- Add coriander powder, remove from fire and sprinkle jeera and fenugreek seed powder.
- Pour into a baking dish.
- Preheat oven at 200 degrees C and bake for 30 minutes.
- Sprinkle little coriander and serve cooled.
