Ingredients:

• 1 kg – Fish (boneless preferred)
• 2 – Big Onions (fried in oil and made into a paste)
• 1 tbsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – Turmeric
• 2 tbsp – Chilli powder
• 1 tbsp – Coriander powder
• 1 tsp – Jeera powder
• 1 tsp – Methi powder (fenugreek seeds)
• A Lime sized ball of Tamarind (soaked in water)
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Take 5 tbsp of oil and fry the onion paste, add ginger garlic paste, turmeric and fry till it turns red.
  2. Add chilli powder and salt, pour the tamarind pulp and boil for 5-10 minutes.
  3. Put in the fish pieces and boil for 5 minutes.
  4. Add coriander powder, remove from fire and sprinkle jeera and fenugreek seed powder.
  5. Pour into a baking dish.
  6. Preheat oven at 200 degrees C and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle little coriander and serve cooled.
