Ingredients:

• Banana flower – 1
• Channa dal – 2 tbsp
• Toor Dal -2 tbsp
• Mustard Seed – 1/4 tsp
• Urad Dal – 1/4 tsp
• Green chilli – 3
• Asafoetida – a pinch
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Soak channa dal and toor dal in hot water for 1 hour
  2. Boil the banana flower
  3. Grind the soaked dal with chilli, little asafoetida and the required amount of salt to make a fine paste.
  4. Take a pan, add oil, splutter mustard seeds and urad dal, add the ground paste and fry till the dal paste dries
  5. Add the boiled banana flower sprouts and fry for 5 minutes.
  6. Serve
