Ingredients:

• 1 tbsp – oil
• 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 2 – tomatoes, chopped
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 – potatoes, boiled and mashed
• 3/4 tsp – salt
• 250 ml – water

Method:

  1. In a pan, heat oil on medium heat. Add mustard seeds to it. When they crackle, add chopped tomatoes and mix it well until it thickens.
  2. Add red chilli powder and turmeric powder to it.
  3. Stir on low heat for a minute.
  4. Add mashed potatoes, salt and 250 ml of water to it.
  5. Mix all the ingredients well. Cover it with a tight lid and cook on medium to low heat for 10 – 12 minutes until it is done. Serve it with rotis.
