Ingredients:
• 15 slices – bread
• 1 cup – Onions chopped
• 1 tsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 3 – chillies
• 1/2 cup – Tomatoes chopped
• 2 tbsp – Tamarind pulp
• 1 tsp – sambar powder
• oil for deep frying
• coriander and Curry leaves for garnishing
• salt to taste
• For Seasoning:
• Mustard Seeds
• black gram
• Bengal Gram
• Cashew nuts
Method:
- Cut the bread slices in even cubes.
- In a pan, heat the oil and add all the seasoning with chilly and ginger garlic paste and onions, and saute them well.
- When the onions turn soft, add tomato and allow it to cook well.
- Now add the tamarind pulp, salt, sambar powder and saute them well.
- Add the bread to this mixture
- Once it is well-cooked remove from the flame and garnish it with coriander and curry leaves.
- Serve them hot.
